About the Role
As a UI/UX Designer at Funhouse, you will follow a user-centered design process to produce the best possible designs for our targeted users. You’ll perform tasks throughout our projects—from user research and prototyping to conducting usability testing—to iterate toward optimal solutions.
Requirements
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in multimedia/web design or a related field.
- 3–5 years of industrial experience as a professional designer.
- Proven portfolio of design projects.
- Excellent design, concepting, and user interface skills that maximize typography, content, and imagery to deliver solutions leveraged across media platforms.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS and other front-end development languages to ensure proposed design solutions are achievable (JavaScript is a plus).
- Hands-on experience with design tools like Figma.
- Experience with wireframe and prototyping software.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot UX problems based on data analysis and qualitative feedback.
Responsibilities
- Create quality wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, and map out interactions between different elements and actions of a product.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and development team members to produce assets for development and documentation.
- Demonstrate a firm understanding of web standards, cross-browser compatibility, image optimization techniques, HTML5, and CSS.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness).
- Stay up-to-date with current design trends, techniques, and processes.
- Continuously improve product flows and interactions to create the best possible user experience.
