Summary: We are seeking a professional with expertise in UX/UI for the Machine Display and Machine Experience Teams. Responsibilities- Translate research findings into clear, prioritized insights and recommendations for UI designs.
- Clarify operator, customer, and business needs, synthesizing them into evidence-based interaction concepts.
- Facilitate research for physical digital systems and integrate findings into product designs.
- Communicate with cross-functional collaborators on prototype requirements to test and iterate.
- Create shareable UX artifacts such as journey maps, storyboards, and user flows.
- Maintain UX research artifacts to align cross-functional teams around operator needs.
- Prioritize research needs based on the product roadmap.
- 5 years of experience in UX Research and knowledge of user experience best practices.
- B.S. or higher in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Psychology, or related field, or equivalent additional experience.
- Thorough understanding of UI best practices, UI design, and graphic design theory.
- Proficiency in UI layout, spec, and prototyping tools.
- Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Portfolio demonstrating expertise and ability to articulate the design process.
- Project management experience.
- Experience in automotive or other adjacent fields.
- Outstanding communication, organization, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional data storytelling capability.
The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $50.00 - $51.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
