About the role

A well-established and growing tax practice is looking for Senior Tax Managers with 7+ years of experience serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals in public accounting.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing complex returns and managing compliance, planning, projection, and advisory projects
• Anticipating and identifying client tax issues and delivering strategic, consultative solutions
• Corresponding directly with clients and managing overall project delivery
• Mentoring and developing junior team members — knowledge transfer is highly valued here
• Partnering with Directors and Partners on business development and strategic planning
• Identifying process improvements to drive quality and efficiency

Requirements

• 7+ years of public accounting experience focused on complex ultra-high-net-worth individuals
• Active California CPA license required
• Bachelor's or master's degree with an emphasis in accounting or taxation
• Proven experience training and mentoring staff
• Someone who genuinely enjoys developing others and takes pride in the quality of their work

Qualifications

• Location: San Francisco or San Jose, hybrid with 3 days onsite per week- open to remote for candidates within California
