About the role
A well-established and growing tax practice is looking for Senior Tax Managers with 7+ years of experience serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals in public accounting.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing complex returns and managing compliance, planning, projection, and advisory projects
- Anticipating and identifying client tax issues and delivering strategic, consultative solutions
- Corresponding directly with clients and managing overall project delivery
- Mentoring and developing junior team members — knowledge transfer is highly valued here
- Partnering with Directors and Partners on business development and strategic planning
- Identifying process improvements to drive quality and efficiency
Requirements
- 7+ years of public accounting experience focused on complex ultra-high-net-worth individuals
- Active California CPA license required
- Bachelor's or master's degree with an emphasis in accounting or taxation
- Proven experience training and mentoring staff
- Someone who genuinely enjoys developing others and takes pride in the quality of their work
Qualifications
- Location: San Francisco or San Jose, hybrid with 3 days onsite per week- open to remote for candidates within California
Skills
- Experience with estate planning implementation through trusts is a plus

Pay
- $180,000 - $230,000 per year
Schedule
