UHNW Mortgage Underwriter

Responsibilities

• Underwrite complex mortgage loans for high net-worth clients based on credit policy and risk appetite
• Manage and maintain a complicated transaction pipeline efficiently
• Guide partners and junior teammates on complex income scenarios
• Analyze detailed income, business financial statements, and tax returns
• Identify and recommend alternative loan solutions when applicable
• Provide onboarding and mentorship to new team members within the underwriting department

Qualifications

• Private bank lending or commercial/structured credit analysis experience required
• 10+ years of experience in credit analysis and underwriting for high net-worth individuals
• Experience underwriting non-conforming loans is necessary
• Proficiency in structuring and underwriting loans held within entities such as LLCs and Trusts
• Demonstrated experience managing a mortgage underwriting pipeline

Pay

$120,000 – $150,000 annually
