Come join the LAZ family for our 2026 University of Florida home games. We are hiring both Cashiers and Traffic Directors for a full-season commitment to work all 6 games in Gainesville.

Hiring Event Details

Date: August 26th, 2026 (Hiring on the spot!)

Location: TBD

Time: 11:00am – 3:30pm EST

What to Wear: Business Casual (no offensive visible tattoos; no neck or face tattoos).

What to Bring: Two forms of ID (e.g., Driver’s License + Social Security Card).

Football Schedule Dates

  • September 5: Florida Atlantic — 7:45pm
  • September 12: Campbell — 5:30pm
  • September 26: Ole Miss — TBD
  • October 10: South Carolina — TBD
  • November 7: Oklahoma — TBD
  • November 21: Vanderbilt — TBD

About the Role

The Event Staff members are the front-line personnel responsible for greeting, engaging, and interacting with all customers attending University of Florida home games.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet each customer with courtesy and great customer service.
  • Understand the surroundings and event details to answer questions.
  • Accurately distribute tickets (proof of purchase) to each customer.
  • Expedite the traffic flow in a timely fashion.
  • Adhere to the dress code: uniform polo tucked in, black professional pants or shorts, and comfortable sneakers in uniform colors.
  • Work outside in any weather condition (rain, snow, wind, heat, etc.) and be on your feet for extended periods.
  • Work the majority of the event season, including days, nights, weekends, and some holidays.
  • Follow all safety standards.
  • Communicate with management, supervisors, and traffic directors.
  • Answer customer service questions concerning parking, handle general inquiries courteously and professionally, and refer questions to supervisors when applicable.
  • Take direction from managers, supervisors, and emergency responders during emergencies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service experience preferred.
  • Parking industry experience preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience working in outdoor/extreme weather conditions preferred.

Skills

  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
  • Must be able to work unsupervised.
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
  • Must be able to work standing up/on feet for extended periods.

Physical Demands

  • Work in the elements (heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.).
  • Lift, push, and pull at least 15 pounds.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift.
