Uber Driver for Testing the Uber App (Remote in the UK)

We are Testlio, a global software testing company with our own freelance network. Our freelancers test apps from companies across the globe, helping improve user experiences for products like the Uber Driver app.

About the role

We're looking for already registered and active Uber drivers located in the United Kingdom to test new features of the Uber Driver app. Your feedback will help ensure a smooth experience for other drivers like you.

To participate, you’ll create an account on our platform to receive testing tasks, use our website for defect tracking, and access preparatory materials.

Pay

• $27 USD per hour, paid weekly via PayPal or Payoneer.
• Payment is hourly, not per bug found—you’ll be compensated even if no bugs are discovered.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Physically located in the United Kingdom.
• Advanced/Native English proficiency for communicating with the testing team and reading instructions.
• Approximately 1 hour of availability for testing (potential for more work based on initial results).
• Access to one of the following devices:
  • Android mobile (Android 13+), or
  • iPhone (iOS 18+).
• Software testing experience is a plus, but not required—we offer free courses to help you learn.

Responsibilities

In this project, you’ll test the cash-out flow in the Uber Driver app, focusing on two key areas:

• Flex Pay Test: Navigate to the Wallet/Earnings section, perform a cash-out using the FlexPay method, and verify the transaction is successful and fees are displayed correctly.
• Instant Pay Fee Increase Test: Navigate to the Wallet/Earnings section, perform a cash-out using the InstantPay method, and confirm the fee increase is displayed accurately.

Note: Fee costs will be reimbursed by Testlio after each testing task, in addition to your hourly pay.
