UAS Certified Flight Instructor

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide ground and flight training as an instructor for AVIT 238 in sUAS.
• Maintenance and repair of sUAS training.
• Maintain inventory records.
• Observe sUAS flight training activities.

Minimum Requirements

• Interpersonal/Human relationship skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to conduct student training without the need for direct oversight.
• Knowledge of sUAS operations.
• Requires remote pilot certificate and completion of AVIT 238.
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of (both fixed wing and rotorcraft preferred).

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Pay Adjustment

Pay adjustment can be made for level of certifications/experience.
