About the role

Play a Key Role in Client Success. Valley's Adult Outpatient Valley West program provides flexible, evidence-based mental health and substance use services that allow clients to receive support while continuing to navigate their daily lives.

Responsibilities

  • Observe, collect and package client urine samples according to DOT standards
  • Label, document, and prepare samples for processing
  • Follow Universal Precautions and all OSHA standards when handling samples
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and private collection space
  • Input OQ scores and RANT assessment scores to online database
  • Complete documentation on services provided
  • Provide administrative support on assigned projects
  • Answer program phone calls to schedule appointments and answer questions as needed
  • Follow agency documentation policies for all phases of treatment including assessments, care plans, treatment transitions and discharge plans, and client care
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards set by licensing boards and state regulations
  • Strictly adhere to HIPAA guidelines
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities to meet licensure, certification, and/or other agency requirements

Qualifications

  • Licenses/Certificates: CPR certification (post hire as needed)
  • Prioritizes safety and quality of care
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite

  • Compensation: Range starts at $17.75/hr (pay is calculated based on years of related experience)
