About the role
We are seeking an experienced U.S. Benefits & Leave Administrator to provide temporary support to our Total Rewards team. This role will provide hands-on administration of U.S. health and welfare benefits and leave programs, with a focus on employee support, vendor coordination, issue resolution, and continuity of day-to-day benefits operations.
Responsibilities
- Respond to employee benefits questions and resolve benefits-related inquiries and escalations.
- Administer and support U.S. health and welfare programs, including medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA, life, disability, and 401(k) programs.
- Support leave administration, including FMLA, disability, parental and other company leaves, and coordinate with employees, HR, payroll, and leave vendors as needed.
- Research and resolve enrollment, eligibility, deduction, carrier integration, and vendor issues.
- Review and reconcile benefits invoices and coordinate timely payment with Accounts Payable.
- Perform routine benefits audits and reconciliations to identify and resolve enrollment or data discrepancies.
- Support qualifying life events, new-hire enrollments, terminations, and other benefits transactions.
- Partner with benefits carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators to resolve outstanding issues.
- Document recurring processes, procedures, and outstanding items to support ongoing benefits administration.
- Provide additional benefits support as needed during the temporary assignment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on U.S. benefits administration experience.
- Working knowledge of U.S. leave administration, including FMLA and disability programs.
- Experience working directly with benefits carriers and third-party administrators.
- Ability to independently research and resolve benefits issues with limited direction.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a high volume of employee inquiries and operational tasks.
- Workday Benefits experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with Fidelity, Unum, Cigna, or similar benefits vendors is a plus.
Your specific offer within the salary range will be determined by your skills, experience, and qualifications. For non-sales roles, this is a base salary only range; additional bonus eligibility may apply.
