About the Role

Jet Access is a family-owned, professionally operated private aviation company offering aircraft management, charter, maintenance, sales, flight training, FBO services, and charter brokerage. As a First Officer, you will serve as an essential crewmember across a diverse fleet of managed and charter aircraft, supporting safe, compliant, and exceptional flight operations. Responsibilities

  • Conduct aircraft operations in accordance with the Flight Operations Manual and company policies, ensuring compliance with flight and duty-time limitations.
  • Maintain proficiency and currency as a required crewmember on all assigned aircraft types (e.g., CE-560XLS+).
  • Lead pre-flight planning, weather analysis, NOTAMs review, and flight preparation in coordination with the assigned Captain.
  • Assist the Captain with flight-related duties, crew resource management, and emergency procedures.
  • Foster and maintain outstanding client relationships through attentive, professional, and service-first interactions.
  • Deliver passenger service that exceeds expectations and reinforces the Jet Access standard of excellence.
  • Coordinate with the flight operations team to ensure seamless, disruption-free travel experiences.
  • Participate in required training, recertification programs, and recurrent proficiency events.
  • Maintain working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR Part 135 and Part 91) and international flight operations regulations.
  • Ensure all flight documentation, trip records, and required paperwork are accurate and submitted on time.
  • Conduct thorough post-flight walkarounds and coordinate with maintenance on discrepancies.
  • Manage aircraft appearance, interior condition, and cleanliness standards between flights.
  • Support aircraft positioning, ferry flights, and repositioning assignments as directed.
  • Monitor aircraft systems during all phases of flight and communicate anomalies promptly.
  • Contribute to a strong safety culture through proactive hazard identification and reporting.
  • Uphold operational integrity for audit readiness across ARGUS, Wyvern, and IS-BAO frameworks.
  • Complete special projects and initiatives to support Jet Access’s continued growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1,500 hours total flying time; 500 hours Pilot-in-Command total time required.
  • Commercial Multi-Engine and Instrument Rating; ATP Certification strongly preferred.
  • Current Second Class Medical Certificate (First Class preferred), renewed every 12 months.
  • Completed initial or recurrent training on assigned aircraft type (CE-560XLS+) within the preceding 12 months.
  • Working knowledge of FAR Part 135 and Part 91 operations.
  • Proficiency with digital flight planning tools, avionics systems, and web-based/mobile flight applications.
  • Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Schedule

  • Variable schedule with 10 hard days off per month, based on charter demand and owner travel requirements.
  • Approximately 25 flight hours per month, with domestic and international trips requiring early departures, late arrivals, and multi-day sequences away from base.
  • Evening and weekend availability is required and common; on-call periods are part of the role.
  • Level 10 Meeting and all-hands attendance expected when not on trip assignment.

Pay

  • Base salary: $75,000 - $115,000.
  • Jet Access Flight Crew Compensation Plan paid bi-weekly, with variable compensation based on aircraft assignment and experience.

Qualifications (Preferred)

  • ATP Certificate with turbine or jet aircraft time logged.
  • Prior Part 135 or corporate flight operations experience in a managed fleet environment.
  • Familiarity with Avianis, ForeFlight Dispatch, or similar scheduling/dispatch platforms.
  • Experience operating internationally, including ICAO airspace, customs coordination, and overwater procedures.
  • Track record of exceptional client service in a high-end or luxury service environment.

Work Environment

  • Field-based, aircraft-based role requiring regular in-person presence at assigned base airports and charter departure points.
  • Domestic and international travel, including extended overnight trips and multi-day assignments.
  • Valid state driver’s license required for airport ground transportation and aircraft repositioning.
  • Physical stamina required for extended flight duty periods, overnight operations, and variable environmental conditions.
  • Ability to meet all FAA medical and physical standards for Part 135 commercial operations.
