About the role
The Traveling MEP Superintendent will report into senior operations leadership and be responsible for leading field execution of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing activities across mission critical construction projects throughout Texas.
Responsibilities
- Drive schedule, quality, and safety performance while coordinating with project teams and subcontractors.
- Manage all on-site MEP construction activities from preconstruction through commissioning.
- Cookordinate subcontractors and trade partners to maintain project schedules and milestones.
- Lead quality control inspections and ensure adherence to client standards.
- Drive a strong safety culture and maintain exceptional site organization and cleanliness.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, MEP Managers, and field leadership.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
- Support turnover, commissioning, and successful project closeout activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an MEP Superintendent on large commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or mission critical projects.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing construction knowledge.
- Willingness to travel throughout Texas on a full-time basis.
- Experience working on data centers, semiconductors, commissioning, controls, low-voltage, telecommunications, aviation, military, or related technical environments is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, communication, and subcontractor management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
