Two Year Old Classroom - Lead Teacher

About This Role

This Two Year Old Classroom - Lead Teacher opportunity at Living Christ Preschool serves Infant / Toddler (0–2) and requires completed early childhood education college credits. Based in Madison, WI, candidates bring experience in early childhood education and development.

What You'll Do

• Work with co-teachers in our two year old classroom.
• Instruct children in developmentally appropriate activities.
• Present Bible stories to children using our curriculum.
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Maintain the health and safety of all students

Requirements

• Candidates should be comfortable working with children ranging from infants-4 years old, but would primarily work with three and four year olds.
• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields preferred.
• Lead qualified for early childhood in the state of Wisconsin
• Infant/Toddler Certified preferred
• Registry Level 12 preferred
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with children
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Associates Degree or higher preferred, but not required
• Highschool Diploma or equivalent required
