Position Overview Our Toddler Teachers create a safe, engaging, and joyful classroom where children can explore, grow, and develop confidence. Through our play-based Wonder of Learning® curriculum, you will guide toddlers as they investigate the world around them, build independence, and reach important developmental milestones. Key Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate daily activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and early learningSupport key toddler milestones including language development, social skills, and potty trainingFoster a positive classroom environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learnMaintain active supervision at all times and ensure compliance with licensing ratios and safety standardsCollaborate with co-teachers and leadership to create a strong, supportive team environmentCommunicate effectively with families regarding their child’s progress and daily experiencesMaintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in a licensed childcare setting (Infant, Toddler, or Floater Teacher)Strong understanding of early childhood developmentEnergetic, dependable, and a true team playerAbility to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environmentPassion for working with young children and supporting their growth Schedule & Benefits Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (additional hours as needed)No nights or weekendsSupportive leadership team and positive work environmentOpportunities for professional growth and development At The Goddard School of Parkland, we believe our teachers are the heart of our school.
