About the role
The Goddard School of Linthicum is seeking a strong and energetic Lead Teacher for our Two's program. The position offers hands‑on training, continued classroom support, and the opportunity to join a team of amazing educators providing high‑quality care for young children.
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 90 clock‑hour coursework for Preschool Age Group (45 hours in growth and development, 45 hours in preschool methods and materials).
- Child Development Associates (CDA) credential in Preschool.
- Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Basic Health and Safety training, with annual updates for 2023 and 2024.
- CPR/First Aid certifications.
- 9‑hour communications course.
- At least 1 year of experience in a preschool classroom within a licensed childcare center.
