The Twin Peaks Girl interacts with, entertains, and provides best-in-class service and hospitality to every guest. Additionally, Twin Peaks Girls sell food and beverages while embodying knowledge of sports, food, and beverages, maintaining a fun, energetic personality, and adhering to Twin Peaks Image and Presentation Guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all Presentation Guidelines
- Interact with and entertain guests
- Promote events and specials to enhance good will and profitability
- Provide best-in-class service and hospitality, including greeting guests, taking and delivering food and drink orders, suggestive selling, checking back for re-orders, pre-bussing, and settling checks
- Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by management
Requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate in English
- Read and understand the menu, write and ring in tickets, and operate a computerized register system
- Suggestively sell menu items
- Communicate effectively with guests to entertain
- Apply common sense and understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
- Handle standardized situations with occasional or no variables
- Mathematically compute proper change and accurately settle checks
- Attend orientation and agree to policies and procedures as outlined in Twin Peaks Girl training
- Successfully complete the Twin Peaks Girl training program prior to working a shift without supervision
- Attend and complete any other required training in compliance with local and state regulations (e.g., food and/or alcohol service certifications) and maintain such certifications during employment
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or carry objects, and talk or hear
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus
Work Environment
- Regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles from the kitchen
- Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions (e.g., dish area or walk-in cooler)
- May be exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals when cleaning
- Noise level is usually loud
- May be exposed to cigarette or cigar smoke in smoking sections
Costume Guidelines
The Twin Peaks Girl costume is essential to the Twin Peaks concept. All Twin Peaks Girls must comply with the Twin Peaks Image and Presentation Guidelines while working. Costume parties are occasionally held and are optional. If participating, the Twin Peaks Girl must comply with the themed costume guidelines and provide her own costume. Non-participation will not result in penalties, and the standard Twin Peaks Girl costume may be worn instead.
- Proprietary costumes may never be worn outside the restaurant or for non-Twin Peaks photography
- Must meet and maintain Twin Peaks Girl Image & Costume Guidelines, including costume, makeup, hair, and nail standards
Acknowledgements
- Understands and agrees to abide by job duties, responsibilities, and Twin Peaks Girl Image & Costume Guidelines
- Acknowledges that failure to adhere to guidelines may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination
- Acknowledges that the role involves Performance Based Scheduling, including a ranking system that determines section assignments
- Acknowledges and affirms that job duties, costume requirements, and work environment are not offensive, intimidating, hostile, or unwelcome
