The Twin Peaks Girl interacts with, entertains, and provides best-in-class service and hospitality to every guest. Additionally, Twin Peaks Girls sell food and beverages. The role is centered on female sex appeal, sports knowledge, food and beverage expertise, a fun and energetic personality, and adherence to Twin Peaks Image & Costume Guidelines.
The Costume
The Twin Peaks Girl is a unique aspect of the Twin Peaks concept. Whenever working, she must comply with the Twin Peaks Image & Costume Guidelines. During occasional costume parties, she must follow the specific guidelines for those events.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all Image & Costume Guidelines
- Interact with and entertain guests
- Promote events and specials to enhance good will and profitability
- Provide best-in-class service and hospitality, including greeting guests, taking and delivering orders, suggestive selling, checking back for re-orders, pre-bussing, and settling checks
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate in English
- Must be able to read and understand the menu, write and ring in tickets, and operate a computerized register system
- Must be able to suggestively sell menu items and entertain guests
- Ability to apply common sense and follow simple one- or two-step instructions
- Ability to handle standardized situations with minimal variables
- Basic math skills to compute proper change and settle checks accurately
- Must attend orientation and agree to policies and procedures
- Must complete the Twin Peaks Girl training program prior to working unsupervised
- Must complete any additional required training, such as food and/or alcohol service certifications
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle objects or controls, and talk or hear
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus
Work Environment
- Regularly exposed to kitchen fumes or airborne particles
- Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions (e.g., dish area or walk-in cooler)
- May be exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals when cleaning
- Noise level is usually loud
- Some locations have smoking sections, which may expose employees to cigarette or cigar smoke
