About the Role
The Twin Peaks Girl interacts with, entertains, and provides best-in-class service and hospitality to every guest. This role requires selling food and beverages while maintaining knowledge of sports, food, and beverages, along with a fun, energetic personality. The Twin Peaks Girl must meet and maintain the Twin Peaks Image and Presentation Guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all Presentation Guidelines
- Interact with and entertain guests
- Promote events and specials to enhance good will and profitability
- Provide best-in-class service and hospitality, including greeting guests, taking orders, suggestive selling, ringing in orders, delivering food and drinks, checking back for re-orders, pre-bussing, and settling checks
- Comply with Twin Peaks Girl Image and Costume Guidelines at all times while working
- Participate in optional themed costume parties, adhering to published costume guidelines (costumes for these events are the employee’s responsibility)
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate in English
- Must be able to read and understand the menu, write and ring in tickets, and operate a computerized register system
- Must be able to suggestively sell menu items and communicate effectively with guests
- Ability to apply common sense and follow simple one- or two-step instructions
- Ability to handle standardized situations with minimal variables
- Basic math skills to compute proper change and settle checks accurately
- Must attend and successfully complete the Twin Peaks Girl training program prior to working unsupervised
- Must complete any required local or state food and/or alcohol service certifications and maintain them during employment
- Must comply with all Twin Peaks policies and procedures, including those on harassment, fraternization, and drug/alcohol abuse
- Must not wear Twin Peaks-issued costumes or proprietary items outside the restaurant or for unauthorized photography
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle objects or controls, and talk or hear
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus
Work Environment
- Regular exposure to kitchen fumes or airborne particles
- Occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions (e.g., dish area or walk-in cooler)
- Possible exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals when cleaning
- Loud noise levels typical of the environment
- Possible exposure to cigarette or cigar smoke in designated smoking sections
Costume Guidelines
The Twin Peaks Girl costume is central to the brand’s unique concept. Employees must comply with Twin Peaks Image and Presentation Guidelines at all times while working. Themed costume parties are optional; employees may choose to wear the standard costume instead. If participating, employees must adhere to the published costume guidelines and provide their own themed costumes. Failure to comply with costume or image guidelines may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
