About the role
The Twin Peaks Girl interacts with, entertains, and provides best-in-class service and hospitality to every guest. This role involves selling food and beverages while embodying a fun, energetic personality with knowledge of sports, food, and beverages. Adherence to Twin Peaks Image & Costume Guidelines is required.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all uniform guidelines
- Interact with and entertain guests
- Promote events and specials to enhance guest experience and profitability
- Provide best-in-class service and hospitality, including greeting guests, taking orders, suggestive selling, delivering food and drinks, checking back for re-orders, pre-bussing, and settling checks
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management
The Uniform
The Twin Peaks Girl is a unique aspect of the Twin Peaks concept. Compliance with Twin Peaks uniform guidelines is mandatory while working.
Requirements
- No prior experience or training required
- Ability to effectively communicate in English
- Must be able to read and understand the menu, write and ring in tickets, and operate a computerized register system
- Must be able to suggestively sell menu items and communicate effectively with guests
- Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with occasional or no variables
- Ability to compute proper change and accurately settle checks
- Must attend orientation and agree to policies and procedures as outlined in the Twin Peaks Girl training
- Must successfully complete the Twin Peaks Girl training program prior to working a shift without supervision
- Must complete any additional required training, such as food and/or alcohol service certifications, in compliance with local and state regulations
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or carry objects, and talk or hear
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus
Work Environment
- Regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles from the kitchen
- Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions (e.g., dish area or walk-in cooler)
- May be exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals when cleaning
- Noise level is usually loud
- Some locations have smoking sections, which may expose employees to cigarette or cigar smoke
