About the Role

The Twin Peaks Girl interacts with, entertains, and provides best-in-class service and hospitality to every guest. Additionally, Twin Peaks Girls sell food and beverages while demonstrating knowledge of sports, food, and beverages, maintaining a fun and energetic personality, and adhering to Twin Peaks Image and Presentation Guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all Presentation Guidelines
• Interact with and entertain guests
• Promote events and specials to enhance good will and profitability
• Provide best-in-class service and hospitality, including greeting guests, taking and delivering orders, suggestive selling, checking back for re-orders, pre-bussing tables, and settling checks accurately
• Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements

• Ability to effectively communicate in English
• Read and understand the menu, write and ring in tickets, and operate a computerized register system
• Suggestively sell menu items and communicate effectively with guests
• Apply common sense to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
• Handle standardized situations with minimal variables
• Mathematically compute proper change and accurately settle checks
• Attend orientation and agree to Twin Peaks policies and procedures
• Successfully complete the Twin Peaks Girl training program prior to working unsupervised
• Complete any additional required training, such as food and/or alcohol service certifications, and maintain certifications during employment

Physical Demands

• Regularly stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle objects or controls, and talk or hear
• Frequently reach with hands and arms
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus

Work Environment

• Regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles from the kitchen
• Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions (e.g., dish area or walk-in cooler)
• May be exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals when cleaning
• Noise level is usually loud
• May be exposed to cigarette or cigar smoke in smoking sections

Costume Requirements

• Must comply with Twin Peaks Image and Presentation Guidelines at all times while working
• Standard Twin Peaks Girl costume is provided by the company and must be worn unless participating in an optional costume party
• Costume parties are optional; employees may choose to wear the standard costume instead
• If participating in a costume party, must comply with published costume guidelines and provide their own costume
• Proprietary costumes or items issued by the company may never be worn outside the restaurant or for non-company photography

Additional Information

• Twin Peaks maintains policies restricting harassment, fraternization, and drug and alcohol abuse
• Performance-Based Scheduling is used, including a ranking system to determine section assignments
• Must maintain Twin Peaks Girl Image & Costume Guidelines (costume, makeup, hair, and nails) throughout employment
• Failure to adhere to job duties, including Image & Costume Guidelines, may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination
