About the Role
The Twin Peaks Girl is responsible for interacting with, entertaining, and providing best-in-class service and hospitality to every guest. This role includes selling food and beverages while embodying knowledge of sports, food, and beverages, maintaining a fun and energetic personality, and adhering to Twin Peaks Image & Costume Guidelines.
Costume Requirements
The Twin Peaks Girl costume is a unique aspect of the Twin Peaks concept. Compliance with the Twin Peaks Image & Costume Guidelines is mandatory whenever working. Occasionally, Twin Peaks promotes optional costume parties. Participation in these parties is voluntary, and standard costumes may be worn instead. If participating, the costume party guidelines must be followed.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all Image & Costume Guidelines.
- Interact with and entertain guests to enhance their experience.
- Promote events and specials to support business profitability and goodwill.
- Provide best-in-class service and hospitality, including greeting guests, taking and delivering food and drink orders, suggestive selling, checking back for re-orders, pre-bussing tables, and settling checks accurately.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- No prior experience or training is required.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, including reading and understanding the menu, writing and ringing in tickets, and operating a computerized register system.
- Strong suggestive selling skills for menu items.
- Ability to apply common sense and understanding to follow simple one- or two-step instructions.
- Ability to handle standardized situations with minimal variables.
- Basic math skills to compute proper change and settle checks accurately.
- Must attend and successfully complete orientation and Twin Peaks Girl training program prior to working unsupervised.
- Must complete and maintain any required local or state certifications, such as food and/or alcohol service certifications.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or carry objects, and communicate effectively.
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
Work Environment
- Regular exposure to kitchen fumes or airborne particles.
- Occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, such as in the dish area or walk-in cooler.
- Possible exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals from cleaning products.
- Loud noise levels are typical in the work environment.
- Some locations may have smoking sections, exposing employees to cigarette or cigar smoke.
