About the role
The Twin Peaks Girl interacts with, entertains, and provides best-in-class service and hospitality to every guest. This role involves selling food and beverages while embodying a fun, energetic personality with knowledge of sports, food, and beverages. Adherence to Twin Peaks Image & Costume Guidelines is required.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all uniform guidelines
- Interact with and entertain guests
- Promote events and specials to enhance guest experience and profitability
- Provide best-in-class service and hospitality, including greeting guests, taking orders, suggestive selling, delivering food and drinks, checking back for re-orders, pre-bussing, and settling checks
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management
The Uniform
The Twin Peaks Girl is a unique aspect of the Twin Peaks concept. Compliance with Twin Peaks uniform guidelines is mandatory whenever on duty.
Requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate in English
- Read and understand the menu, write and ring in tickets, and operate a computerized register system
- Suggestively sell menu items
- Apply common sense to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
- Handle standardized situations with minimal variables
- Mathematically compute proper change and accurately settle checks
- Attend orientation and agree to company policies and procedures
- Successfully complete the Twin Peaks Girl training program prior to working unsupervised
- Complete any additional required training (e.g., food and/or alcohol service certifications)
Physical Demands
- Regularly stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle objects or controls, and communicate verbally
- Frequently reach with hands and arms
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to focus
Work Environment
- Regular exposure to kitchen fumes or airborne particles
- Occasional exposure to wet/humid conditions (e.g., dish area or walk-in cooler)
- Possible exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals when cleaning
- Loud noise levels typical of the environment
- Potential exposure to cigarette or cigar smoke in designated guest smoking sections
