About the Role

The Twin Peaks Girl interacts with, entertains, and provides best-in-class service and hospitality to every guest. Additionally, Twin Peaks Girls sell food and beverages while demonstrating knowledge of sports, food, and beverages, maintaining a fun and energetic personality, and adhering to Twin Peaks Presentation Guidelines.

The Costume

The Twin Peaks Girl costume is central to the Twin Peaks concept. All Twin Peaks Girls must comply with the Twin Peaks Presentation Guidelines while working. Occasionally, Twin Peaks promotes optional costume parties. Participation is voluntary, and employees may choose to wear the standard Twin Peaks Girl costume instead. If participating, the employee must comply with the costume party guidelines and provide their own costume. Proprietary Twin Peaks costumes or items may never be worn outside the restaurant, including for recreational purposes or unauthorized photography.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all Twin Peaks Presentation Guidelines.
• Interact with and entertain guests to enhance their experience.
• Promote events and specials to drive business profitability and goodwill.
• Provide best-in-class service and hospitality, including greeting guests, taking and delivering food and drink orders, suggestive selling, pre-bussing tables, and settling checks accurately.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Ability to effectively communicate in English, including reading and understanding the menu, writing and ringing in tickets, and operating a computerized register system.
• Ability to suggestively sell menu items and entertain guests through effective communication.
• Apply common sense and understanding to follow simple one- or two-step instructions and handle standardized situations with minimal variables.
• Perform basic mathematical computations to provide correct change and settle checks accurately.
• Attend and successfully complete orientation, Twin Peaks Girl training, and any other required training (e.g., food and/or alcohol service certifications) prior to working unsupervised. Maintain all certifications during employment.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle objects or controls, and communicate verbally.
• Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

Work Environment

• Regular exposure to kitchen fumes or airborne particles.
• Occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions (e.g., dish area or walk-in cooler).
• Potential exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals from cleaning products.
• Loud noise levels are typical.
• Possible exposure to cigarette or cigar smoke in locations with smoking sections for guests.

Policies and Expectations

• Twin Peaks maintains an all-female serving staff, and employees must meet and maintain the Twin Peaks Girl Presentation Guidelines, including costume, makeup, hair, and nail standards.
• Performance-Based Scheduling is used, including a ranking system that determines section assignments based on various performance variables.
• Strict policies are enforced regarding harassment, fraternization, and drug and alcohol abuse.
• Failure to adhere to job duties, requirements, or Presentation Guidelines may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
