About the Role
The Twin Peaks Girl interacts with, entertains, and provides best-in-class service and hospitality to every guest. The role involves selling food and beverages while embodying female sex appeal, sports knowledge, a fun and energetic personality, and adherence to Twin Peaks Image & Costume Guidelines.
The Costume
The Twin Peaks Girl is central to the brand’s uniqueness and must comply with Twin Peaks Image & Costume Guidelines at all times while working. During promotional costume parties, participation requires adherence to specific costume guidelines for the event.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all Image & Costume Guidelines
- Interact with and entertain guests
- Promote events and specials to enhance goodwill and profitability
- Provide best-in-class service and hospitality, including greeting guests, taking and delivering orders, suggestive selling, checking back for re-orders, pre-bussing, and settling checks
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- No prior experience or training required
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, including reading and understanding the menu, writing and ringing in tickets, and operating a computerized register system
- Strong suggestive selling skills for menu items
- Ability to apply common sense and follow simple one- or two-step instructions
- Ability to handle standardized situations with minimal variables
- Basic math skills to compute proper change and settle checks accurately
- Must attend orientation and agree to company policies and procedures
- Must complete the Twin Peaks Girl training program before working unsupervised
- Must complete any additional required training, such as food or alcohol service certifications, per local and state regulations
Physical Demands
The role requires the following physical abilities:
- Regularly stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle objects or controls, and communicate verbally
- Frequently reach with hands and arms
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus
Work Environment
The work environment includes the following conditions:
- Regular exposure to kitchen fumes or airborne particles
- Occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions (e.g., dish area or walk-in cooler)
- Possible exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals during cleaning
- Loud noise levels typical of the environment
- Potential exposure to cigarette or cigar smoke in designated smoking sections
