About the Role
The Twin Peaks Girl interacts with, entertains, and provides best-in-class service and hospitality to every guest. Additionally, Twin Peaks Girls sell food and beverages while embodying knowledge of sports, food, and beverages, maintaining a fun, energetic personality, and adhering to Twin Peaks Image and Presentation Guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all Presentation Guidelines
- Interact with and entertain guests
- Promote events and specials to enhance good will and profitability
- Provide best-in-class service and hospitality, including greeting guests, taking and delivering orders, suggestive selling, pre-bussing tables, and settling checks accurately
- Execute food and drink orders (taking orders, ringing them in, delivering to tables, checking back for re-orders)
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate in English
- Read and understand the menu, write and ring in tickets, and operate a computerized register system
- Suggestively sell menu items
- Apply common sense to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
- Handle standardized situations with minimal variables
- Mathematically compute proper change and accurately settle checks
- Attend orientation and agree to Twin Peaks policies and procedures
- Successfully complete the Twin Peaks Girl training program prior to working unsupervised
- Complete any additional required training (e.g., food/alcohol service certifications) and maintain certifications during employment
Physical Demands
- Regularly stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle objects/products/controls, and talk or hear
- Frequently reach with hands and arms
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to focus
Work Environment
- Regular exposure to kitchen fumes or airborne particles
- Occasional exposure to wet/humid conditions (e.g., dish area, walk-in cooler)
- Possible exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals when cleaning
- Loud noise levels
- Potential exposure to cigarette or cigar smoke in designated smoking sections
Costume Guidelines
- Must comply with Twin Peaks Image and Presentation Guidelines at all times while working
- Standard Twin Peaks Girl costume provided by the company; must be worn during all shifts unless participating in an optional costume party
- Costume parties are optional; if participating, must comply with published costume guidelines and provide own costume
- Proprietary costumes (e.g., Twin Peaks top) may never be worn outside the restaurant or for non-company photography
Additional Notes
- Employment requires maintaining the Twin Peaks Girl Image & Costume Guidelines (costume, makeup, hair, nails)
- Performance-Based Scheduling used to determine section assignments, based on a ranking system with multiple variables
- Policies strictly prohibit harassment, fraternization, and drug/alcohol abuse
- Failure to adhere to job duties, including Image & Costume Guidelines, may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination
