About the Role
The Twin Peaks Girl is responsible for interacting with, entertaining, and providing best-in-class service and hospitality to every guest. This role includes selling food and beverages while embodying knowledge of sports, food, and beverages, maintaining a fun and energetic personality, and adhering to Twin Peaks Image & Costume Guidelines.
Costume Requirements
The Twin Peaks Girl must comply with the Twin Peaks Image & Costume Guidelines whenever working. Occasionally, Twin Peaks promotes optional costume parties. Participation in these parties is voluntary, and the standard Twin Peaks Girl costume may be worn instead. If participating, the themed costume must comply with the provided guidelines, and the employee is responsible for providing their own themed costume.
Proprietary costumes or any issued items may never be worn outside the restaurant, including for recreational purposes or unauthorized photography.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all Image & Costume Guidelines.
- Interact with and entertain guests to enhance their experience.
- Promote events and specials to support business profitability.
- Provide best-in-class service and hospitality, including greeting guests, taking and delivering orders, suggestive selling, checking back for re-orders, pre-bussing tables, and settling checks accurately.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- No prior experience or training required.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, including reading and understanding the menu, writing and ringing in tickets, and operating a computerized register system.
- Strong suggestive selling skills for menu items.
- Ability to apply common sense and follow simple one- or two-step instructions.
- Ability to handle standardized situations with minimal variables.
- Basic math skills to compute proper change and settle checks accurately.
- Must attend and successfully complete orientation, Twin Peaks Girl training, and any other required training (e.g., food/alcohol service certifications) prior to working unsupervised. Certifications must be maintained during employment.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle objects or controls, and talk or hear.
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
Work Environment
- Regular exposure to kitchen fumes or airborne particles.
- Occasional exposure to wet/humid conditions (e.g., dish area or walk-in cooler).
- Potential exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals from cleaning products.
- Loud noise levels are typical.
- Possible exposure to cigarette or cigar smoke in designated smoking sections.
Pay
$2.13 per hour.
Additional Notes
- The role is based on an all-female serving staff, and employees must meet and maintain the Twin Peaks Girl Image & Costume Guidelines.
- Performance-Based Scheduling is used, including a ranking system to determine section assignments.
- Policies strictly prohibit harassment, fraternization, and drug/alcohol abuse.
- Failure to adhere to job duties, including Image & Costume Guidelines, may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
