TWIC Security Officer- Unarmed Overnight

About the role

Allied Universal® is hiring a Unarmed Cleared Security Professional. The position involves providing high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information, and enforcing rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide security services, protecting personnel, property, and sensitive information.
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle.
• Assist guests and employees, escort visitors and contractors, secure ingress and egress points, and secure classified information.
• Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances.
• Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms, acting as a first responder in emergencies and providing first aid as necessary.

Requirements

• Valid TWIC card.
• Clean driving record.
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
• Work outdoors in the elements.
• Active TWIC card, in-hand.
• Pass DISA (breath and hair follicle drug test).
• First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.
• United States Citizenship and one of the following: S. Passport, Certified copy of U.S. birth certificate, Certified copy of Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA), Certificate of U.S. Citizenship, Certificate of U.S. Naturalization.
• Minimum of two (2) years of previous security experience, military experience related to law enforcement, security, or support roles in a Combat Zone, or graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy.
• Minimum of 21 years of age (or higher if required by the state).
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Must be a United States Citizen to obtain the required government clearance.
• Must possess one or more of the following: minimum of two (2) years of previous security experience, minimum of two (2) years of service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security, or any support role in a Combat Zone, or graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy.
• Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Eight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days.

$14.50 - Hour - Pays Weekly

12-HR Shifts - Overnight, early AM
