Responsibilities
- Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information
- Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
- Preserve order and enforce rules, regulations, and directives for the viability of the site
- Greeting guests and employees, assisting where appropriate; escorting visitors and contractors, secure ingress and egress points, secure classified information
- Follow-site specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via oral and written communication; interacting with client and/or other security personnel regarding order execution when appropriate
- Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms; act as a first responder in emergency situations and provide first aid as necessary
Qualifications
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Licenses required are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer owned vehicle
- Possess, or be able to successfully complete within 90 days of assignment, certification in: First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Must be a United States Citizen in order to obtain the required government clearance of America and possess one of the following:
- S. Passport
- Certified copy of U.S. birth certificate
- Certified copy of Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) (Form FS-240)
- Certificate of U.S. Citizenship (Form N-560 or N-561)
- Certificate of U.S. Naturalization (Form N-550 or N-570)
- Must possess one or more of the following:
- Minimum of two (2) years of previous security experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
- Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian)
- Verifiable work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighting field
- Minimum of 21 years of age (or higher if required by the state)
- Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to articulate and write clear and concise incident or situation reports
