About the role
Phoenix Mecano N.V., a subsidiary of Swiss Phoenix Mecano AG, is a producer and distributor of industrial enclosures, drag-arm and HMI solutions (Human Machine Interface), electronic components, and mechanical systems and constructions. Our facility in Deinze is ISO and ATEX/IECEX certified.
Accountmanager – Enclosures, Electronic Components & HMI Solutions
Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in your region, including production companies (e.g., petrochemical, chemical process, food, packaging industries), machine builders, start-ups, engineering firms, and other sectors, engaging with project engineers, production managers, product developers, and buyers.
- Regularly visit decision-makers to identify upcoming projects and prepare proposals, potentially during the design or engineering phase.
- Collaborate closely with internal sales colleagues to develop quotations.
- Identify projects in new or unfamiliar sectors and discuss opportunities with management.
- Focus on delivering standard, customized, or fully bespoke solutions, working collaboratively with customers to finalize deals.
- Record visits and actions in a CRM system; spend 1-2 days per week in the office to discuss project progress with internal colleagues and schedule customer meetings.
- Report to the Managing Director BeNeLux.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s level education with strong commercial insight and a customer-focused approach.
- Preferably, initial sales experience in a technical environment (e.g., electrical, electronics, or mechanical).
- Primary territory covers the Antwerp port area, the Albert Canal axis, and regions south of Brussels and around Liège.
- Fluent in Dutch and French, with basic English proficiency.
- Proactive, hands-on, and team-oriented mindset.
- Interest in new technologies, automation, and product development.
- Strong administrative follow-up and planning skills.

Project Engineer – Mechanical Components
Responsibilities
- Technically guide projects from the design phase through production preparation and follow-up in our in-house workshop.
- Collaborate with field sales colleagues to develop quotations, supported by your team.
- Engage with customers to determine needs and implement project adjustments as required.
- Maintain supplier contacts to meet customer requirements and track deliveries.
Requirements
- Technical Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in mechanics, electromechanics, or a related field.
- Several years of relevant technical or project experience.
- Ability to collaborate with customers during the design phase to explore solutions.
- Experience with 3D design software such as SolidWorks.
- Commitment to quality and precision.
- Proactive approach with a sense of initiative.
- Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
- Enjoy combining independent work with interpersonal interactions and demonstrate strong teamwork skills.
