TWB Canton - Laser Weld Operator - 2nd Shift
Responsibilities
- Processes customer orders in a timely manner.
- Ensures the timely flow of material, contributing to process efficiency.
- Moves material to/from a machine with a forklift and/or crane in a timely, safe and efficient manner.
- Oversees order change over on regular orders - setup machines (off line).
- Machine troubleshooting.
- Responsible for product quality.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Complete knowledge of all functions of machine operation.
- Computer knowledge – Oracle operating system.
- Basic writing and math skills.
- Must know how to read all measuring devices.
- Knows hazard communication and hazard energy procedures.
- Able to lead by example, coach and train in basic functions of machine set up and operation.
- Able to make quality decisions for minor defects and proper tooling needed for set ups.
- Understands the safety training and procedures manuals.
- Able to perform all required quality checks and surface inspection of material.
- 6 months of previous material handling experience or equivalent knowledge.
- Forklift and/or crane license required.
- Required OSHA safety training provided.
- Highschool diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications
- Must have complete knowledge of all functions of machine operation.

Pay
Competitive Starting Pay - $20.88/hour & $1.00 Shift Differential Paid.
Schedule
HOURS 2nd Shift - Continental shift 5pm-5am
Work 48 hours one week and 36 the next 2 days on/2 days off / 3 days on / 2 days off – rotates week to week back and forth.
Example of 48 Hour Week: Work Monday & Tuesday / Off Wednesday & Thursday / Work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Sunday is included in the 36-hour week)
