Tutor - SAT/ACT - Part-Time, In-Person

About the role

Tutor part-time, in-person positions available for SAT/ACT preparation. No teaching certification required.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students one-on-one in SAT and ACT preparation
• Provide personalized instruction based on curriculum and training provided
• Meet with students in their homes or via interactive platform for virtual sessions

Requirements

• Experience tutoring SAT and/or ACT prep preferred but not required
• Confidence in tutoring math and verbal sections of SAT/ACT
• Willingness to travel to students' homes for in-person tutoring sessions
• Ability to tutor a variety of academic subjects including but not limited to: reading/writing, math, science, social studies, study skills, and executive functioning

Qualifications

• No teaching certification required
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to individual student needs
• Knowledge of SAT and ACT test formats and strategies
