Position Overview

Lower Elementary Tutor – Part Time at Rippling Woods Elementary School (Glen Burnie, Maryland). Contract: October 2026 – April 2027. Schedule: Mondays and Thursdays, 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm (4 hours/week).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver prescribed instructional delivery methods as determined by the Company.
• Consult with school personnel to coordinate efforts in providing services to students.
• Communicate and conference with parents, providing information on student progress.
• Attend training sessions and deliver designated instructional models and strategies in reading, mathematics, and/or writing using Company‑designed materials.
• Develop and maintain individualized skill‑appropriate lesson plans.
• Ensure supervision of students, including escorting students safely to and from sessions.
• Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by the Company, local, state, and/or federal agencies.
• Attend and document meetings/training with Company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents as required.
• Maintain inventory of educational materials and supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (required).
• Completion of an FBI/BCI background check (required).
• Teaching experience (preferred).
• Unwavering belief that all children can learn.
• Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.

Pay

Starting from USD $30.00 per hour.
