Tutor: Northwest Campus - Temporary, Part-Time

Duties & Responsibilities

• Aid students in understanding course material and improving study skills.
• Offer tutoring in one-on-one, group settings, or embedded in classes.
• Provide test preparation and guidance on the use of textbooks and instructional materials.
• Encourage and support students in developing self-confidence, study habits, and time management.
• Report any issues with equipment or materials to Learning Center Personnel.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with diverse student and employee populations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proven classroom excellence in the subject(s) to be tutored (grade A or B).
• Completion of CRLA level 1 certification within one year of employment.
• Experience tutoring multiple subjects preferred.
