Tutor, Biology/Chemistry

Overview

Please note this position is always open and we seek to hire for each semester Tutor Chemistry to students on all levels.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students individually or in small groups.
• Review materials covered in class.
• Review homework assignments.
• Prepare students for exams.
• Attend workshops to enhance tutorial skills.
• Communicate with instructors regarding student deficiencies and progress.
• Keep daily record of students tutored and materials utilized.
• Other related duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

• Reference statement from Chemistry Department Chair.
• Education, Preparation, and Training:
• Degree not required.
• At least Excellent grades in Chemistry.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to relate to students.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.

Pay

Maximum Salary USD $22.00/Hr.

Schedule

Minimum Salary USD $17.00/Hr.
