About the role
This position assists students in developing knowledge, insight, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills in Chemistry course materials.
Responsibilities
- Assist students in analyzing assignments and understanding class materials.
- Assist students in interpreting and understanding chemistry concepts.
- Assist students in the development of critical thinking and scientific communication skills.
- Assist students in the development of effective study habits and skills.
- Perform other related duties as assigned and/or required.
Qualifications
- Reference from an instructor or professor if you are a current Olympic College student.
- High School Graduate, Equivalent or Current Running Start Student.
- Basic computer competency.
- Minimum Qualifications: Completion of Inorganic Chemistry and Organic Chemistry courses with an average decimal grade of 3.5 or better.
- Desired Qualifications: College teaching or previous tutoring experience.

Pay
$19.50 - $25.96 hourly*
