Responsibilities

• ELA and Math support for Kindergarten through 8th grade students.
• Provide 1:1 or small group tutoring sessions to students using the provided curriculum and learning technology.
• Manage classroom dynamics to ensure a conducive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Keep track of daily attendance and feedback.
• Use technology to access our learning library.

Requirements

• Can complete the fingerprinting process within 48 hours of an offer
• Meet DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance requirements for this position
• Provide 3 professional references
• Have a minimum of 60 units of college credits
• Have at least one year of student-related experience
• Be detail-oriented and highly dependable
• Be an effective communicator
• Have reliable transportation
• Provide a negative tuberculosis test within 2 weeks of being hired

Benefits

• Pay: $22 per hour standard $23 per hour if bilingual (Spanish or other preferred language based on site request) $24 per hour if credentialed teacher or certificated tutor
• In-person Mon-Thurs, 3:00pm-5:00pm Hours: 8-10 hours per week, with the possibility of additional virtual hours in the near future
