Turret Operator I - 3rd Shift
Essential Functions
- Obtain and apply information from Work Instruction File.
- Set-up and operate CNC and computer by following machine setup sheets.
- Test and inspect equipment.
- Test and inspect product to blueprint specifications.
- Inspect product for compliance to requirements and sign-off for first piece approval.
- Utilizes and completes documentation requirements.
- Understand and follow policy procedures.
- Prepare product for transfer to next work cell.
- Shut down and store computer and equipment.
- Document and record all work done in work cell.
Occasional Duties
- Operate associated metal fabrication machinery: surface grinder, press brakes, surface graining, and edge deburring machines.
Train Others
Train others in respective work cell to assure good quality parts are being produced in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure general maintenance and upkeep of equipment.
Physical Demands And Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required throughout the workday to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch; talk or hear.
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to see print in various sizes and formats.
- May be required to climb stairs.
- Must regularly be able to pull and push up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Work environment: Work performed in a production environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time (for Maintenance & Receiving only). The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high, in some areas.

About the Role
High School Graduate or equivalent. One to three years experience in metal fabrication.

Ability to read and understand blueprints. Work with minimal supervision. Team oriented.
