Job Summary
You will participate with completions certification and turnover/handover for a project, through construction, commissioning, and handover phases of the program.
Major Responsibilities
- Participates with completions certification and turnover/handover for the project, through construction, commissioning, and handover phases of the program
- Incorporates handover requirements from the customer and construction/CSU turnover requirements, as provided into the systems completion database
- Maintains lists and turnover processes as documented by procedure and directed
- Inputs provided data into system databases and administers the systems completion database; ensuring that requirements are set for systems under their purview
- Assists with the punch list database, running reports and chasing areas of focus as directed
- Assists with completions packages to certify completion of a turnover or handover element for review and approval
- Assists with completions documents submittal, checking and compilation processes or provides checking and oversight to subcontractors in this regard
Education And Experience Requirements
- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge And Skills
- Knowledge of construction and commissioning processes as they relate to completion and turnover activities
- Good knowledge of MS Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
- Experience with data management and /or database usage
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to proactively seek out missing information
Additional Information
- Work requires the physical ability to conduct field inspections including but not limited to: extensive walking in and around a construction site often in high heat and high humidity conditions, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, working on elevated platforms, working on uneven surfaces, and working in small or confined spaces.
- Some lifting may be required.
- Must have the ability to walk into and out of the project (enter/egress).
- Must be able to use appropriate standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. harness, life vest, lift buckets, etc.).
