Our client, a global industrial gases and chemical manufacturing company, is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation with Turnaround Planner experience to join their team. You will be part of the Turnaround and Maintenance Planning team supporting site operations and outage execution teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, effective communication skills, and leadership abilities which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Turnaround Planner (Electrical & Instrumentation) Location: Los Angeles or Martinez, CA Pay Range: $50 - $60/hour (2-year contract) + expenses What’s the Job? Lead assigned Electrical & Instrumentation turnaround scope through planning and execution phases. Create detailed work packages, job plans, and maintenance documentation for outage activities. Coordinate materials, contractors, and resources to ensure successful turnaround execution. Provide schedule updates and field support during outage/shutdown events. Promote safe work practices, risk management, and compliance with company standards and procedures. What’s Needed? 7+ years of Electrical & Instrumentation planning, maintenance, or turnaround/outage experience. Strong instrumentation knowledge, including calibrations, safety testing, orifice plates, and process instrumentation. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, and technical documentation. Experience using SAP; Primavera P6 experience preferred. Exposure to Cleopatra Enterprise is a plus. California residency required; TWIC card required for Martinez site or ability to obtain necessary site credentials. What’s in it for me?
