Turnaround HSE Coordinator

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Safety operations.
• BS in Health and Safety related discipline preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills.
• Able to prioritize and coordinate multiple daily tasks and work within tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Must have the ability to communicate Safety policies with the Customer and TNT Crane employee(s) before and during the job task.
• Performs field audits at our Customers job site for proper setup of the crane and equipment.
• Verifies proper rigging and techniques are being utilized during the lift.
• Audits TNT Crane Operator, Rigger, and Signal Person for company issued credentials.
• Audits the Quarterly log (slings, shackles, and chains) for each crane.
• Audits the TNT Crane Driver of the semi-truck for proper inspection logs and log books.
• Makes sure crane, semi-truck, pick-up trucks, and/or trailers are inspected for tire wear and vehicle inspection reports.
• Makes sure TNT Crane employee(s) are assessed for Crane Operator and Rigging certifications and records the information.
• Makes sure TNT Crane employee(s) are assessed for driving abilities and records the information.
• Investigates, interviews, and records information on all Near Misses and Incidents.
• Calculates the load percentage by utilizing the load charts of the crane’s owner and operation manual.
• Recognizes and understands proper rigging techniques to ensure safe lifting of the load.
• Performs other job duties as assigned.
