Turn Assistant - Haven at Elgin (Student Living)
About the role
The Turn Assistant at Haven at Elgin is responsible for supporting the leasing office, assisting with lease preparation and move-in/out processes, and participating in on-campus marketing efforts.
Responsibilities
- Performs administrative tasks such as copying documents, filing resident files, preparing notices, handling resident calls, and organizing rent payments and other collateral materials.
- Aids in the lease preparation, move-in, and move-out processes by printing necessary lease paperwork and organizing resident lease files.
- Engages in on-campus marketing activities to increase community awareness and attract qualified residents.
- Assists with resident functions like parties, welcome parties, unit visits, and other programs aimed at enhancing resident satisfaction.
- Maintains the grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash and debris, pressure-washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
- Performs touch-up painting for vacant and occupied units and ensures proper caulking and sealing around windows, sink areas, toilets, bathtubs, and showers.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent is required. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are also required. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
Qualifications
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
Skills
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
