Position
Hood Packaging Corporation is seeking an experienced Tubing Operator - 2nd & 3rd Shift for their Sibley Iowa location.
Scope of Position
Reporting to the Production Manager, this position is to efficiently and safely operate the machine for maximum production of defect-free multiwall bags. Efficient, productive operation of the machine with no defective product getting to the customer is critical to a profitable operation.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently operate the machine for maximum production of defect-free multiwall bags.
- Ensure no defective product gets to the customer.
- Provide in-house customers with a product that can be worked with.
Requirements
- Experience operating a tubing machine.
- Ability to work flexible hours including 2nd and 3rd shifts.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures closely.
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols.

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
- 2nd Shift: 3:45 PM-12 AM Monday through Friday
- 3rd Shift: 11:45 PM-8 AM Monday through Friday
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience operating a tubing machine.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
Skills
- Operate tubing machines.
- Follow detailed instructions and procedures.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Handle stress and prioritize tasks effectively.
