About the role
Hood Packaging Corporation is seeking an experienced Tuber Associate for their Sibley location. This position reports to the Tubing Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Shafts and places rolls of paper or poly onto roll stands in preparation for production.
- Maintain production efficiencies by planning ahead, monitoring raw materials, and being prepared to make quick, and careful roll changes.
- Ensure proper raw materials are being used for each job to reduce costs associated with poor quality.
- In the absence of the Tubing Operator, take on the role to ensure production needs are met.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Basic knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
