About the role
The Account Care Leader is responsible for leading a team of Account Care Specialists in a proactive, mature, consistent, and flexible manner. They will supervise all aspects of the team, including responding to customer inquiries, managing inventory, and collaborating with other departments.
Responsibilities
- Able and responsive to customer questions concerning products, pricing, and order status
- Works closely with inventory control
- Lead and monitor Account Care Specialist Team
- Display a knowledge of all products and services
- Keep Account Care Specialists informed of daily activities, issues
- Propose solutions to all issues
- Work closely with other teams including customer, other ACS, warehouse partners, and other leadership
- Work with and in other departments on projects to help overall efficiencies in the department
Requirements
- Excellent Communications Skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and personal computers
- Able to prioritize and complete tasks
- Complies with corporate compliance program
- Follows all company policies and procedures, state & federal laws and regulations
- Handles reporting of violations to the appropriate supervisor
- Maintains confidentiality of company information
- Demonstrates honesty and integrity at all times
- Able to respond to change productively and handle additional projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Highschool Degree or equivalent
- 3-5 years’ work experience in customer service or a call center environment
- (Preferred) 3-5 years’ experience in medical distribution field
- (Preferred) 3+ years long-term care industry experience
Skills
- Participate in center/agency surveys (Licensure / JCAHO)
- Attend and participate in continuing educational programs
- Comply with corporate compliance program
- Report job-related functions/tasks that involve occupational hazards including exposure to blood and body fluids and others as necessary
- Follow established safety regulations, to include fire protection & prevention, smoking regulations, infection control, etc.
- Follow established safety procedures when performing tasks and/or working with equipment
