About the role

This is a remote, part-time Territory Sales Associate (TSA) position. Candidates must be comfortable traveling to store locations within their assigned territory, driving their personal vehicle 55+ miles per day. Mileage will be reimbursed at 62 cents per mile. No car allowance is provided.

This role is ideal for a relationship-oriented person looking to flex their selling skills while representing major brands like Reese’s, Hershey’s Kisses, Twizzlers, and Jolly Ranchers.

Responsibilities

• Sell and maintain 100% distribution of all “authorized” Hershey items in assigned territory.
• Ensure flawless retail execution of Headquarter Sales and Merchandising Plans (Retail Execution Plan) with various retailers.
• Achieve all merchandising objectives through effective use of Permanent Secondary Displays and other display vehicles.
• Report weekly activity, expenses, account changes, promotions, and all administrative functions within assigned territory.
• Report daily activities using tablets, submitting upon completion of each day.

Requirements

• Valid US state-issued driver’s license.
• Personal vehicle in sound operating condition.
• Personal auto insurance with minimum coverage of $100,000 per person / $100,000 per accident / $100,000 property damage, permitting business use.
• Ability to drive long distances and make multiple sales calls daily.
• Ability to lift 10-40 lbs. regularly, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and demonstrate manual dexterity frequently, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Daily access to wireless internet and ability to use tablet technology.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changes in territory coverage.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

3-4 years of food merchandising experience is preferred but not required.

Schedule

• Part-time, “Continuous Part-Time” role working 20-25 hours per week.
• On average, a TSA will visit 6-10+ accounts per day.
• Flexible work schedules based on personal and territory needs, with core hours of 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, unless otherwise required by business needs.

Pay

Hourly starting rate of $16.50 - $17.50 per hour. Rate may vary depending on skills, experience, and geographic location.
