Summary

Location: Ocala, FL. This is a remote position requiring travel to store locations; candidates must reside in or be willing to commute to specified ZIP codes. This role requires driving a personal vehicle approximately 55 miles per day within the assigned territory (mileage reimbursed at $0.62/mile).

Work Schedule

• Continuous Part-Time position: 20–25 hours per week
• Visit 6–10+ accounts per day on average
• Flexible schedules based on personal needs, territory needs, and store decision-maker availability
• Workday should overlap core hours of 6:00am–4:00pm, Monday–Friday, unless business needs require otherwise

Pay

Hourly starting rate of $15.50–$16.50 per hour, depending on skill, experience, and geographic location.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Sell and maintain 100% distribution of all authorized Hershey items in assigned territory
• Ensure flawless retail execution of Headquarter Sales and Merchandising Plans (Retail Execution Plan) with various retailers
• Achieve merchandising objectives through effective use of Permanent Secondary Displays and other display vehicles as outlined in the Retail Execution Plan
• Report weekly activity, expenses, account changes, promotions, and all administrative functions within assigned territory
• Report daily activities via tablet, submitting upon completion of each day
• Manage sales territory (size varies due to territory size, number of retailers, and location)

Requirements

• Valid U.S. state-issued driver’s license
• Personal vehicle in sound operating condition
• Personal auto insurance with minimum coverage of $100,000 per person / $100,000 per accident / $100,000 property damage, permitting business use
• Reside or be willing to commute within the listed territory boundaries
• Able to drive long distances to make multiple sales calls daily
• Able to lift 10–40 lbs. regularly (with or without reasonable accommodations)
• Able to bend, kneel, stoop, and demonstrate manual dexterity frequently (with or without reasonable accommodations)
• Able to use tablet technology
• Daily access to wireless internet
• Flexibility and adaptability to changes in territory coverage
• Availability to work 20–25 hours per week

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Experience: 3–4 years of food merchandising preferred but not required
