About the role

This is a remote, part-time Territory Sales Associate (TSA) position. Candidates must be comfortable traveling to store locations within an assigned territory, driving approximately 55 miles per day in a personal vehicle. Mileage will be reimbursed at 62 cents per mile. No car allowance is provided.

Schedule

This is a “Continuous Part-Time” role requiring 20-25 hours per week. Workdays should overlap core hours of 6:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, unless otherwise required by business needs. On average, a TSA will visit 6-10+ accounts per day. The schedule is flexible based on personal needs, territory needs, and store decision-maker availability.

Pay

This position offers an hourly starting rate of $15.50 - $16.50 per hour. Rate may vary depending on skill, experience, and geographic location.

Responsibilities

• Sell and maintain 100% distribution of all “authorized” Hershey items in assigned territory.
• Ensure flawless retail execution of Headquarter Sales and Merchandising Plans (Retail Execution Plan) with various retailers.
• Achieve all merchandising objectives through effective use of Permanent Secondary Displays and other display vehicles established within the Retail Execution Plan.
• Report weekly activity, expenses, account changes, promotions, and all administrative functions within assigned territory.
• Report daily activities using tablets, submitting upon completion of each day.

Requirements

• Valid US state-issued driver’s license.
• Personal vehicle in sound operating condition.
• Personal auto insurance with minimum coverage of $100,000 per person / $100,000 per accident / $100,000 property damage, permitting business use.
• Ability to drive long distances to make multiple sales calls daily.
• Ability to lift 10-40 lbs. regularly, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and demonstrate manual dexterity frequently, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Daily access to wireless internet.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changes in territory coverage.
• Availability to work 20-25 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3-4 years of food merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to use tablet technology.
