About the role
Precise Systems is seeking a TS/SCI Server/Cloud Administrator to join our dynamic team. This position supports the warfighters and involves managing Microsoft-based web applications and SQL Server databases across multiple hosting environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform deployments of software releases and data updates to Microsoft Windows servers in IL5, IL6, and higher security environments.
- Assist in the server administration of Microsoft Windows-based 2019+ servers in a DoD hosting environment.
- Manage Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Troubleshoot and assist in resolving system problems and issues in multiple hosting environments.
- Cook up with cloud and information assurance personnel to perform software updates, system changes, and security testing and scans.
- Interact with a help desk team, cloud hosting technical teams, and developers to assist with problem-solving.
- Administer policies and standards related to security and technical implementation guidance following government guidelines and requirements.
- Maintain system documentation.
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
Requirements
- At least one (1) year of experience with Windows Server administration.
- CompTIA Security +, or similar IAT Level II certification.
- Absolutely need an active Top Secret clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.
Qualifications
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS).
- Desired: Experience with Azure cloud administration.
Skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server administration.
- Experience with SQL Server database management.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
