About the role
CAE USA Inc. is seeking a Network Administrator with a Security Clearance to manage and maintain complex network environments, including cloud-based network segmentation/security appliances. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a technology discipline or equivalent experience, along with Cisco CCNA Cloud or CCNA Route & Switch certification, or equivalent certifications with 4+ years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain complex network environments, including cloud-based network segmentation/security appliances.
- Configure and troubleshoot routing, switching, and VoIP, particularly within a Cisco environment.
- Manage and support infrastructure monitoring tools using SNMP, Netflow, and Syslog.
- Manage and support network services such as DNS, IPAM, (S)FTP, TFTP, LDAP, SMTP, and DHCP.
- Manage and support IT Security policies as they pertain to NIST 800.171 and Security Information and Event Manager (SIEM).
- Interface with CAE users and customers at all levels and work with CAE Global IT Administrators.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a technology discipline or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Cisco CCNA Cloud or CCNA Route & Switch required OR CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Cloud+, or equivalent certification with minimum 4+ years of experience managing networks.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in support and maintenance of complex network environment including cloud-based network segmentation/security appliances.
- In depth Knowledge of Firewalls, Routers, Layer 2/3 Switches and VLANs as well as Wireless technologies.
- Deep understanding of Layer2/Layer3 network stack.
- Possess knowledge and ability to configure and troubleshoot routing, switching, and VoIP, particularly within a Cisco environment.
- Knowledge of protocols EIGRP, OSPF, HSRP, BGP, gateway load balancing, and related protocols.
- Familiarity of Load Balancers.
- Familiarity of SD-WAN devices.
- Knowledge of IT Security policies as they pertain to NIST 800.171 and Security Information and Event Manager (SIEM).
- Troubleshooting skillset for LAN/WAN network and application issues on premise and cloud appliances.
- Knowledge of Network Services such as DNS, IPAM, (S)FTP, TFTP, LDAP, SMTP, and DHCP.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure Monitoring tools using SNMP, Netflow, and Syslog.
- Knowledge of 802.1x and certificates.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and problem-solving ability.
- Learn and adopt best practices in Network Management.
- Ability to interface well with CAE users and customers at all levels.
- Ability to interface and work well with CAE Global IT Administrators.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto, Juniper, Aruba, Silverpeak, or F5 products.
- CCNP Cloud, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Azure Administrator Associate, or Azure Security Engineer Associate preferred.
- Significant Experience with DNS/DHCP/NAT/FW Security.
- Experience with Cloud Security Appliances and Security Solutions (CASB).
- Knowledge and experience working with VMware vSphere and Hyper-V.
- Knowledge and experience supporting a Microsoft Windows network.

- Security Responsibilities: Compliance with company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures.
- Physical Demands: Regularly required to sit, talk or hear, in person, in meetings and by telephone. Manual dexterity to operate computers or other standard office equipment; and reach with hands and arms. Able to support rack mounted equipment (up to 7 feet off the ground).
Benefits
Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role. The position offers an estimated annual salary of $101,891.
