About the role
Our client, a leading Professional Services organization, is seeking a TS/SCI FSP cleared Red Hat Linux Consultant for an initial 4‑month contract onsite in Jessup, MD. The contract will be extended for a year after the initial term.
Requirements
- Active NSA‑sponsored TS/SCI Full Scope Poly clearance with current green/blue badge capability for immediate crossover.
- Red Hat Linux 9 delivery and implementation experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects, with a focus on enterprise Red Hat Linux deployments.
- IAT Level II certification (Security+, SSCP, CCNA Security, etc.).
- 3 years of experience leading modern cloud platform engagements.
- Experience with at least two of the following:
- Linux Systems Administration experience with RHEL 8 or above.
- Experience utilizing Red Hat Satellite to deploy and manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux Systems.
- Experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
- Hands‑on experience with VMware and AWS.
Pay
The expected hourly rate range for this role is $65–94/hr. The posted range is an estimate; the actual compensation offer will be based on the candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications and will be in line with internal equity.
Schedule
Initial 4‑month contract, onsite in Jessup, MD, with a one‑year extension anticipated.
